If you haven’t heard of Muse yet, you will soon. It’s Meta’s personal AI agent, and it launched in September with its own app. You can also message it from WhatsApp. You give it a job and it goes off to do the work, checking back with you when it needs a yes.
At the end of September, Meta gave Muse a small business upgrade. It can now see your ad account, your Instagram numbers and your books. The new connections cover Meta Ads, Instagram, QuickBooks, Shopify and Stripe. It’s also free for most of what you’d use it for. My first thought was that a lot of people are going to connect every app they own on day one and hope for the best.
Last week I told you my first agent runs one task a day, on a leash. I’d start Muse the exact same way. Meta built in good brakes, since it won’t post, send or spend anything without your okay, and you decide how much access each app gets. Those brakes only work if you start small and let it earn the bigger jobs.
The AI Move
Here are the three jobs I would give Muse first, each one using the lowest access the app allows:
Run those three for two weeks. When its drafted replies are ones you would send without changing a word, give it permission to send.
One note before you dive in: Muse is only available in the US and Canada right now. Several features Meta announced are also still marked “coming soon.”
This week’s prompt
Paste this into Muse after you connect your first apps. It will set up your first two weeks with the brakes on.
ROLE: You are my business assistant for a two-week trial. I run a [type of business, e.g. coaching practice, bakery, bookkeeping firm].
CONTEXT: I have connected [list the apps you connected]. For these two weeks you can read and draft. Every send, post or purchase waits for my approval.
REQUEST: Look at the apps I’ve connected and suggest a simple weekly rhythm built only from them. That could be a morning briefing of what needs my attention, a weekly look at what’s working in my marketing, or a Friday check on money coming in and going out. Ask me up to three questions about my week before you set it up. If you are unsure about anything, rate your confidence and ask me first.
New tools like Muse are easier to figure out with other founders doing the same thing. The Unstoppable Community opens in Q1 2027, and the waitlist is open now at theunstoppableai.com/community. Early names help decide what we build first.
