I belong to a handful of communities that are full of good stuff, and I had gotten to the point where I was opening them out of guilt. Too many threads, too many days behind, and a low hum of worry that the one thing I needed was sitting in a post I would never scroll far enough to find.

So I sent AI in to do the reading. The first run was a baseline, a snapshot of everything already sitting in those communities, and that step matters more than it sounds. Now a scheduled task runs every Friday, goes in, and brings me back only what is new since the last run, with a note on how it lands for my business and whether any of it is worth passing to a client.

I have not opened one of those communities in two weeks and I am more caught up than I have been all year.

The AI Move

Most people use AI browsing as a one-off. You ask it to go check something, it reads, it reports. Next week you ask again and get the same forty posts you already read, plus two new ones buried in the middle. That is not research. That is a very expensive refresh button.

Three pieces turn it into a system, and the first one is the piece most people are missing.

Start with the browser extension. This is the part that decides whether any of this works, because your communities sit behind a login and ordinary AI search cannot get past it. The extension runs inside the browser you are already signed into, so it walks in as you. ChatGPT has the Codex Chrome extension, which sounds like a developer tool and is not one. Claude has the Claude Chrome extension. Install whichever one matches the AI you already pay for, pin it, and let it use the tabs you are already logged into.

Then take a baseline. Run it once and tell it to capture everything sitting there right now. Save that output somewhere it can read again, a doc, a project file, anywhere that persists. This is your “already seen” pile, and it is the whole reason the next part works.

Then put it on a schedule. Set a recurring task that reads against the baseline and reports only the delta. Mine runs Friday so I have the week’s finds before I plan the next one. Supervise the first run, because that is where you log in and where you find out whether it understood what relevant means for you.

The same shape works far past communities. Competitor pages that change without telling you. A supplier’s pricing page. The forums where your clients complain out loud. Anywhere you keep meaning to check and never do.

You still decide what matters. AI just stops making you find it.

This week’s prompt

Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude with your browser extension running. It builds your baseline first, then writes the weekly instruction for you.

ROLE: You are my research assistant. You browse sources on my behalf and report back only what is useful to my business.

CONTEXT: My business is [what you do, who you serve]. The sources I want watched are [list your communities, competitor pages, or forums]. What matters to me is [your offer, your content topics, your clients’ problems].

REQUEST:
1. Visit each source and build a baseline. Capture every discussion, post, or page currently there that touches my topics. Summarize each one in a single line.
2. Save that baseline as a file I can hand back to you on future runs.
3. Tell me the three things in the baseline I should act on this week, and why each one matters to my business.
4. Write me the exact instruction I should use for the weekly run so you report only what is new since this baseline, and flag anything worth sending to a client.

Ask me for anything you need before you start.

Already built your business brain? Skip the context block. It knows your offer, your content, and your clients. Just give it the sources.

The Unstoppable Community opens in Q1 2027, and the waitlist is open now. It is for the owner who keeps building these systems alone, in a browser tab, at 11pm, with nobody to ask whether the thing they just wired together is any good. Inside, you get the builds themselves, the prompts and the setups I run in my own business, and a room full of founders doing the same work at the same time. The waitlist is shaping what goes in it, so early names carry real weight on what gets built first. Join at theunstoppableai.com/community.
